Saturday was a big day for Charlotte because we turned her car seat around. She is now forward facing! Can't say we've noticed a huge difference, but she seems to enjoy the new view.

Here are a few photos we've taken over the past few weeks.

Charlotte found a comfortable place to read and enjoy the sunshine of one of our last warm summer days.

Grandpa and Grandma Russell, Aunt Kelly, and Charlotte dressed as Goldie Locks and the Three Bears for the Suds Run 5k near St. Anthony Main and downtown Minneapolis. They took second place in the parent/child costume division!

Tickle fingers...

Are going to get you!!!!

And she found her pumpkin! Grandma and Grandpa Distad had a very successful pumpkin patch this year, and Charlotte picked out her pumpkin as well as a couple for the girls who live next door to us. Halloween will be here soon. Boo!

Dear concerned Viking fans: we discovered Charlotte has grown into her hand-me-down Viking apparel, so have no fear, she'll be splitting her time between her Viking, Packer, Wisconsin, and Minnesota apparel.

9/27 addendum: Charlotte weighed 23 lbs 6 oz at the doctor tonight! She's growing!

Charlotte started at a new daycare last week. We made the switch mostly for convenience but there are other things that we like better about the new place. It reminds us of Little Huskies in Houghton which we loved. Charlotte seems to like it too.

Last week I took the afternoon off to take Charlotte to a live performance of her favorite show, Yo Gabba Gabba! We took the train downtown and walked through the Nicollet Mall farmer's market on the way to the State Theatre.

At two years old, she couldn't quite grasp what I was telling her beforehand. But once we walked in the lobby and she saw the large cardboard cutouts of Muno, Toodee, Foofa, Brobee, and Plex she lost her mind a little bit.  We had a good time dancing and singing along throughout the show. Luckily, Yo Gabba Gabba tends to appeal to parents of my generation as well (a lot of the music acts on the t.v. show are on my ipod already.)

The whole afternoon led to a bit of over stimulation come bedtime, but that is all part of the fun I guess.

Trying to contain our excitement pre-show
It's time to dance. Yeah.
DJ Lance says dance around...
That. Was. Epic.

Muno!? Where?

Time to rest and rehydrate.

Here is a video someone posted to YouTube from the show we were at
